El movimiento comienza con el atleta levantando la barra desde el suelo hasta los hombros en una posici\u00f3n de rack. Desde all\u00ed, el atleta flexiona las rodillas y realiza un salto explosivo mientras empuja la barra hacia arriba con los brazos extendidos. A medida que la barra se eleva sobre la cabeza del atleta, este se coloca debajo de la barra y termina la elevaci\u00f3n con los brazos completamente extendidos y las piernas en una posici\u00f3n de media sentadilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante el push jerk, los m\u00fasculos principales involucrados son los m\u00fasculos del tronco, hombros, tr\u00edceps, pecho y piernas. Los m\u00fasculos del tronco, como los abdominales y la espalda baja, se activan para estabilizar el cuerpo mientras se realiza el movimiento. Los hombros y los tr\u00edceps son los principales motores del empuje, mientras que el pecho ayuda en la estabilizaci\u00f3n de la barra.
