El usuario sostiene un extremo de la barra con una mano y realiza un press vertical con un solo brazo mientras se encuentra en una posici\u00f3n de split alto, es decir, con un pie delante del otro y las rodillas ligeramente flexionadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En relaci\u00f3n craneal-caudal, este ejercicio implica una extensi\u00f3n vertical de la articulaci\u00f3n del hombro en el plano frontal, es decir, la elevaci\u00f3n del brazo por encima de la cabeza, y una extensi\u00f3n de la articulaci\u00f3n del codo en el plano sagital, es decir, la extensi\u00f3n del brazo hacia arriba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los <strong>m\u00fasculos principales <\/strong>involucrados en el ejercicio son los deltoides, el tr\u00edceps braquial y el pectoral mayor. El deltoides es responsable de la abducci\u00f3n y la flexi\u00f3n del hombro, lo que ayuda en la elevaci\u00f3n del brazo. El tr\u00edceps braquial es responsable de la extensi\u00f3n del codo, lo que permite al usuario empujar la barra hacia arriba. El pectoral mayor se activa para estabilizar el hombro durante la fase de press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de los m\u00fasculos principales, otros m\u00fasculos estabilizadores que se activan durante el ejercicio incluyen los m\u00fasculos del n\u00facleo, como los abdominales, los m\u00fasculos de la cadera y los m\u00fasculos de las piernas, como los cu\u00e1driceps y los gl\u00fateos.
